Well this is part 2 of the 12 part post... Hopefully you enjoyed the first episode, because I'm delivering all 12!
Season 1 - Episode 2 - "Calamity Jen"
Moss, Roy, and Jen are summoned to a company wide meeting with Denholm in which he "declares war" on stress and sets up a staff seminar on dealing with stress and its effects. Moss and Roy attend, but Jen is distracted by a shoe shop and purchases a pair of shoes—despite their being two sizes too small—on her way to work. At the seminar Roy and Moss become infatuated with the "stress tester" the speaker used, prompting Moss to build his own and start a fire in the basement. Unfortunately, throughout the episode fake commercials aired for a changeover in the emergency phone number from "999" to "0118 999 881 999 119 725 3" causing problems in getting help.

The IT Crowd
as you may have assumed, I have been failing to come up with things creative enough to actually post to this blog. So, in the spirit of my computer nerd heritage, I have decided to make my next 12 posts dedicated to the British sitcom called "The IT Crowd." Nobody can say for sure whether it is pronounced "it" or I.T., but I say I.T. because that's what I know... Kathryn of course disagrees, because she would.
ANYWAY... this, the first of a 12 post series, will be the first episode of the first season. The videos are on Youtube, so if you want to look ahead, feel free, although then you will have no use to come back to my blog, so DONT DO IT!!! (c:
Each video is sectioned into 3 parts for size sake on Youtube, so you will (heaven forbid) have to click 3 different play buttons at 3 different times... yikes!
Season 1 - Episode 1 - "Yesterday's Jam"
Denholm Reynholm, the technically challenged boss of a large corporation, interviews Jen Barber for a position. Fooled by her "techno-bluffing", he appoints her as manager of the IT support office, where she demonstrates a complete lack of knowledge in technical matters.
Moss and Roy, resenting having been given a manager, attempt to get rid of her by exposing her lack of knowledge and experience to Reynholm until they realize her people skills can be an asset for them.

McCain to LVH
so today John McCain is joining the LVH crowd to talk about healthcare, and other politics, yadda yadda yadda.... I don't really care much, but I went out to lunch today and on my way out of the parking lot, there were a bunch of signs for McCain. Also, on the other side of the street, were all of the Obama followers (maybe about 35 of them), and apparently both of the Hillary supporters of the Lehigh Valley made it out to the event as well (only 2 Hillabean signs)... that just made me chuckle a little (c:
I had a nice picture of McCain to go in here, but I didn't want to get in trouble w/ any blog-trollers.
but here's the link anway!! http://uglyrepublicans.com/republicans/United-States/John-McCain/john-mccain-pirate.jpg

The Finger
The last week or so has been extremely busy!! I shouldn't be writing this right now due to all the work I have, but I had to get this out there... Butterfinger is changing it's name to "The Finger"!!!
Apparently they thought the name Butterfinger was too controversial... relating to people who are clumsy and drop things easily... So they wanted to get a new name that was clear, straight to the point, and free from controversy... The Finger...
Simply Hilarious, and a great start to April Fools.

Concrete Canvas
So I was checking out my iGoogle home page earlier today, and I clicked on an optical illusion that was a wall mural... It was pretty neat, so I dug deeper. The deeper digging lead me to Julian Beever's website. This guy is an amazing artist, most of his work being on city sidewalks and streets. He's pretty clever, and I think he had a Coke sponsor for awhile too, because a lot of his drawings show Coke bottles or cans. He's ridiculously creative... here are a few of my favorites...
Here he is sitting on an ice block in the arctic fishing for a whale..
Here he is on the ledge of a burning building about to be saved by batman and robin..
Here he is feeding a real live young child to a huge lobster...
And here he is diving into a pool under a waterfall next to a building on support beams...
Some pretty cool stuff!! He has a lot more on his website, I definitely suggest checking it out!
And for more of his work that's not listed on his website, just use Google Images to search for his name... I already did it for you.

11 Planets
So remember how they decided that Pluto was no longer a planet, and that we only have 8 planets in our solar system?? Well, Pluto is back!! Along with Pluto, 2 other "dwarf planets" have been named to be included in our new 11 planet solar system.
Ceres - which was originally thought to be an asteroid between Mars and Jupiter
Eris - an object that is slightly larger than Pluto, and further from the sun.
So now, our solar system has 11 planets:
Mercury
Venus
Earth
Mars
Ceres
Jupiter
Saturn
Uranus
Neptune
Pluto
Eris
Congratulations to Pluto, my all time second favorite planet, for making it back on the list and bringing it's tiny dwarf friends with it. That's what I like to call "dwarf's revenge". (soon to be listed in the urban dictionary.)
In other news, the term AUTHORITARD has been recently listed in the Urban Dictionary, brought to you by somebody named Obblie Gobblie in Allentown!

playstation 2
Well Thursday I bought Kristi a slimline Playstation 2 so that she can play her guitar hero without having to steal her brother's system. It worked out great, because I scored an almost new system, 2 controllers, 2 memory cards, a remote, and 17 games for only $125. The marketplace here at Lehigh Valley Hospital is amazing!
It's great because I only ever owned Nintendo systems, but my roommates in college always has playstations, so I always played all of the playstation games! Now I get to reunite myself with some of my favorite games, such as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (which was included in my purchase!).
Now all I have to do is find Kingdom Hearts in stores somewhere. For some reason I absolutely loved that game.
